The chassis is built around two four inch steel tubes, like the original. Components for the rear suspension and braking systems are from locally produced VR VS Commodore, we have used the Commodore live rear axle with trailing arms and panhard for predictable handling, the front suspension uses upper and lower control arms and uprights from the Jaguar XJ6 series two or three.

Commodore front callipers are fitted to the Jaguar front suspension and the Commodore brake pedal, booster and master cylinder are used.

For ease of construction the body and floors can be completely removed from the chassis, this makes it extremely easy to build, the motor, gearbox, suspension, exhaust, fuel tank, fuel lines, and brake lines are all fitted to the chassis, then the floors, bulkheads and transmission tunnel are refitted then the body, doors, boot, and bonnet.

WHAT YOU GET

CHASSIS — fully assembled and welded chassis with all the mounting points for suspension components, motor, pedals, steering etc.

FLOORS AND BULKHEADS —  3mm aluminium

BODY AND PANELS — hand laid fibreglass body and panels from chopped strand mat and polyester resin

HARDWARE – door hinges, bonnet hinges and boot hinges.

PAYMENTS

The price is $18,000  including GST
Deposit of $2,000 is required with your order

A further deposit of $6,000 is required when production of your unit begins.
Balance must be paid in cleared funds before pickup, we do not accept cheques on pickup day, and this includes bank cheques.

If the order is cancelled before we have commenced production then the initial deposit will be refunded, if the order is cancelled after we have commenced production and the second deposit has been paid, we will refund both deposits only when  the Body Unit has been resold to another customer.

Delivery is the responsibility of the purchaser, however every assistance will be given.
